Welcome to Stamford Youngtimers' home on the web!

Stamford Youngtimers Basketball League (SYTBB) is the largest ALL Girls basketball league in Stamford.  Nearly all of the Girls High School players on the 2016 State Champion Stamford High, Westhill High and Trinity Catholic High School teams (past and present) have played in the SYTBB league.  Many of the current players are also coaching in the league.

Here, you'll be able to get news, information, schedules, rosters, game results, directions and much much more. Check back frequently for the latest information about our club.

Youngtimers Clinics are Back!

Finally!   After 18 months of waiting, we have been given the go-ahead to start scheduling basketball activities.  We will begin with two weeks of clinics, one later this month and the second in the first week of October.  Registration is now open at our website (sytbb.com) on the left navigation panel.  The clinics will be directed by Stamford High School coach Diane Burns as well as me and our travel coaches.  We also hope that several of our Youngtimers alums will be able to help.

The first set of clinics will be held on Sept. 28, 29 and 30 and the second set will be Oct. 4, 5 and 6.  All sessions will be at Scofield Middle School.  4th, 5th and beginning 6th graders are scheduled for 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. each night while 6th through 8th graders will play from 7:45 to 9 p.m. (Times of clinics are subject to change based on numbers.).  Any 3rd graders who plan to move up to Junior League this winter are also welcome.

Costs of the clinics will be as follows:   $90 for a package of all six clinics, $50 for a single week and $25 for each single clinic.

It’s been a long time since we’ve been able to play so these clinics are a great way to prepare your daughters for our evaluations/tryouts in October.   Please spread the word to any and all girls who want to participate, even if they haven't played before!  After taking a year off, we need to really get the information out to people so they are fully aware of it.  The plan is for all participants to wear masks as that's consistent with the rules in schools right now for indoor activities.  We will continue to evaluate that as we go and adjust as necessary.

Look forward to seeing all of you soon.   Hoping for a great turnout so please help us get the news out on this!  If you have any questions, please send them to Tim Frank at  .
