Stamford Youngtimers Basketball League (SYTBB) is the largest ALL Girls basketball league in Stamford. Nearly all of the Girls High School players on the Stamford and Westhill High School teams (past and present) have played in the SYTBB league. Many of the current players are also coaching in the league.  The program runs from kindergarten to 8th grade and is a tremendous way for young girls to learn the game and play it the right way.

Parents:  Registration is open now for the 2023-24 Stamford Youngtimers girls basketball season.  The Youngtimers organization has programs for girls in kindergarten through eighth grade and registration is available at the registration tab on the left navigation panel at this website.  Don't wait to register as it helps us to get everyone in the system!  PLEASE NOTE:  We have changed the dates of the Junior and Senior house league evaluations and travel tryouts.

Please spread the word so we can get as many girls to play this year as possible.  Girls from any town can play in the house league while Stamford residents are eligible for our travel teams. All girls who register for the house league will be placed on a house league team.  There are only tryouts for travel.  Practices during the week this year will be at Cloonan Middle School while games on Sundays will be at Westhill High School.

Little Timers (Kindergarten and First Grade)

Cost: $135

Start Date: Dec. 10

Times: Sundays from Noon to 1 p.m.

Starters (2^nd and 3^rd Grade)

Cost: $155 up to Dec. 10 (additional $25 after Dec. 10)

Start Date: Dec. 10

Times: Sundays; 45-minute Clinic and 45-minute Game each week after the first two evaluation weeks; Sessions are 1:30 to 3 p.m. or 3 to 4:30 p.m.

Juniors (4^th through Beginning 6^th Grade)

Cost: $185 up to Oct. 11 (additional $25 after Oct. 11)

Evaluation Dates: Oct. 10 and 11 at Scofield Middle School

Practice Begins: Nov. 8

Seniors (6^th through 8^th Grade)

Cost: $185 up to Oct. 11 (additional $25 after Oct. 11)

Evaluation Dates: Oct. 10 and 11 at Scofield Middle School

Practice Begins: Nov. 8

5^th and 6^th Grade Travel

Cost: $475 (one practice per week)

Uniform Fee: Approximately $100

Tryouts:  Oct. 16 and 18 at Scofield Middle School
